ACM TechBriefs

ACM TechBriefs is a series of short technical bulletins, which present a balanced perspective on the impact of specific developments or applications of technology. That could include topics currently under consideration by policy‐makers (e.g., e‐voting), but also the social, political, economic and environmental impacts of new technologies or other themes related to our responsibilities, as computing professionals, to the broader community. The primary goal is to inform and engage more people in pressing issues related to technology, rather than to directly influence policy.
