SIGOPSSpecial Interest Group on Operating Systems

The ACM Special Interest Group on Operating Systems addresses a broad spectrum of issues associated with computing systems research and development, focused on operating systems but also including distributed systems and middleware. Members are drawn from a broad community spanning industry, academia, and government. SIGOPS supports many conferences and workshops, including the Symposium on Operating Systems Principles (SOSP), Operating Systems Design and Implementation (OSDI), ACM Symposium on Principles of Distributed Computing (PODC), European Conference on Computer Systems (EuroSys), and Asia-Pacific Workshop on Systems (APSys). Members also get Operating Systems Review publication online and in print.
